I’ve been so lucky over the last few weeks to have had such a nice time at home before my big move to New York. I was able to spend time at home with my family, longer than I have been able to in a long time. I saw friends and spent time with my boyfriend. With the beautiful Autumn we were having in Ireland, I decided I wanted to visit Curraghchase Forest Park in Limerick one last time before the move. My boyfriend brought me here on my birthday two years ago and I fell in love! He knew I’d love taking pictures here and boy was he right! It’s heaven for any self-confessed tree lover like myself. We went on the Sunday of the October Bank Holiday and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect, blazing blue skies, not a cloud to be seen. And nothing beats the crunch of crisp Autumn leaves. The trees were nothing sort of spectacular.
I’ve been planning my trip to New York for so long. I’ve been scared, excited, ecstatic, nervous and impatient waiting for the day to actually arrive. And finally it has. I finally get to start experiencing it whatever it turns out to be like. I no longer have to keep imagining or worrying about it. It’s here and it’s time to go live it. And Central Park has a lot to live up to in my eyes!
